Reaching Epi involves a sailing about 80NM from Port Vila, you can shorten this journey by spending a few days in Port Havannah only 20NM from Port Vila and even stopping at Emea Island enroute, if your lucky the seas will be flat and you can dive the famous Cooks Reef.
If you not sailing the journey either combines air and sea travel. The island has a small airstrip, and there are regular flights from Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu. From the airstrip, visitors can take a 4x4 or boat ride to their chosen accommodation. The main jetty is only 500m from the Airfield.
