If the weather is good anchoring in the main harbour is OK however its deep at 15m to 30m, there are pockets that are more shallow but be careful of the reefs.

In bad weather the Yachting world mooring are a safer bet, any wind from the West will turn the main harbour into a very uncomfortable place where you will need to monitor you vessel closely as boats do drag in the bay. The Mooring are safer and are protected in a Westerly blow, they are serviced and appear in good nick. Expect to pay Australian prices, they do have a fuel jetty, water and a dinghy dock and rubbish disposal. The bar and restaurant are good, food is tasty.
